Submissions close on 4th November 2024
We’ve streamlined the process! Simply complete the online form, and it will be automatically sent to all three relevant parties.
WDC & WRC further advice: It is important to note that any submission may summarise the relevant issues of interest and does not need to provide full detail of any reasons or evidence to support the submission points.
Further instructions/ guides at the bottom of this form. Alternately there are Govt guides, https://environment.govt.nz/assets/Publications/Files/3.2-making-a-submission.pdf
Notes
a) don't need to sign or add your address if submitting online using this form, nor do you need to complete two different forms and send to three parties, just one online form that is automatically sent to all three.
b) notes for question
7) This question can be potentially a little harder to answer. Some further options are
-
Support with No Conditions: "I seek that the application be approved as submitted, as I believe the proposal complies with all relevant environmental and planning regulations".
-
Support with Conditions: "I seek that the application be approved with conditions, including the restrictions on trucks movements through Cambridge and the River Banks within the Cultural Landscape Zone are maintained."
-
Neutral Request for Further Information: "I request that the consent authority require further assessments, particularly on traffic safety, environmental impact, and the type of material, before making a final decision on the application."
-
Opposition Unless Conditions Are Met: "I seek that the application be declined unless specific conditions are imposed, such as limiting truck movements via Cambridge, loads are covered, no extraction within a Cultural Landscape Area, River Banks are maintained and establishing noise barriers, and ensuring dust control measures are strictly enforced."
-
Complete Opposition: "I seek that the application be declined, as I believe the negative environmental and social impacts outweigh the benefits, particularly in terms of increased traffic, noise, and environmental affecting the community."
8) There will be three commissioners who will decide the outcome of this Application. You have the option to delegate your powers and functions to them or retain these responsibilities yourself.
If submitting via printed paper forms they need to be made to both the Waipa District Council and Waikato Regional Council with a copy to the Applicant, use Form 13 for both.
